Let's have a catch up...

Okay, I'll be honest, I'm running a LITTLE behind on these blogs, but for good reason, we've been very busy!

But what have you been busy with, you might ask?

Lots. - See, even though, September and October aren't STRICTLY in the wedding season, we've still been busy with lots of weddings, a wedding fair, a mountain of editing and Oh, I also had a birthday, but as I'm now at the point where I'm mathematically closer to 40 than 30, I'd rather gloss over that one if you don't mind.

The Autumn months are underrated, and whilst when you picture the idyllic perfect wedding day in the middle of the summer, with birds singing and bright flowers everywhere, the practical amongst us, will know that as of September, big wedding dresses are more tolerable, 3 piece suits won't make you sweat as much and honestly, Autumn colours when it comes to weddings look amazing!

Let's be real though, if we're being picky, the weather was better in September than through the summer months anyway.

Whilst I make no secret about absolutely adoring the summer, the colder months, are when the majority of couples are getting in touch, and knuckling down with their wedding plans, which goes hand in hand with us being at the Charnwood Arms wedding Fair last weekend.

Wedding fairs are a fantastic occasion for us to engage with other outstanding wedding suppliers, and when we find ourselves in the company of Cakes by Emma, you know we're in the queue for free samples! These events are also the perfect setting for us to reconnect with couples who have already booked us for their big day, and also new couples who want to get us involved with their upcoming big day.

We had a wicked day, and it was wicked to meet up with so many new, upcoming and even past couples who just came down for a bit of a natter too!

In addition to everything mentioned, we're diligently working on editing weddings from the late summer season. There's something truly special about revisiting the weddings we've already photographed and immersing ourselves in those memorable moments all over again. We're eagerly looking forward to delivering the final shots to the incredible couples we've had the privilege of working with!

I'm going to sign off there for this week, and I'll be back next sunday!

Peace. Love and Photos.
