Ralph and Ella...

Updated: Jan 13

The usual writer is missing this week as he enjoys a well-deserved day off, celebrating Father's Day with his two beautiful children. So, you're all stuck with me this time, sorry!

It's always heart-warming to witness two people professing their love for each other in front of the world and this wedding was no different with Bride Ella whispering "I love you so so much" throughout the ceremony to Groom Ralph and Ralph returning a beaming smile whilst welling up at the sight of his wife-to-be.

Last Saturday we had the pleasure of joining Ralph and Ella as they tied the knot with the help of Rev. Liz. As we rolled up to St Anne's Church in Leicester, we knew straight away that this wedding was going to be a fantastic day.

We always make a point of introducing ourselves to the Reverend / Registrar at the start of the day to ensure that we're on the same page of where we can stand along what we can and cannot take pictures of - making both of our jobs easier throughout the ceremony.

Rev. Liz was absolutely lovely, as she explained she didn't mind where we stood, only that we got the best shots for the couple. She made sure we had plenty of time to snap Ralph & Ella throughout the ceremony and even paused so that we could get those all-important must-have shots.

Once the ceremony was complete, the couple took their first steps as man and wife out into the Church's beautiful gardens. We couldn't resist but take the posed family shots here whilst the sun was beaming and the guests were confetti-ready.

Once the group photos were finished, the wedding party headed towards their Reception Venue - The Rutland and Derby Arms.

Ralph & Ella had hired out The Rutland and Derby Arms for the day, including their rooftop terrace and marquee, creating the perfect setting for an evening of eating, dancing and celebrating with those closest.

As much as I'd love to edit up and share more pictures of their day, we're reserving first dibs for Ralph & Ella.

We're wishing them many many years of happiness together, and want to thank them once more for allowing us to capture their big day. Thank you to both Ralph and Ella for booking with us and thoroughly looking after us!

On another note...

I wanted to take a moment (considering the date, today) to wish all fathers out there a wonderful Father's Day. It's not only biological fathers, but brothers, uncles, grandads, step-dads, and all - thank you for being you, and supporting your families throughout the good times and the bad!

Happy Father's Day to my dad, Peter.

Happy Father's Day to Jono's dad, David.

Happy Father's Day to Jono.

Happy Father's Day to you!

Until next time!

(As Jono would say:) Peace, Love and Photos
