The National Wedding Fayre 2025

This past weekend, the Jonathan David Photography team packed up our cameras, albums, and maybe a sneaky bag of snacks and headed to the National Wedding Fayre for the very first time at the NAEC Stoneleigh. And wow, what a whirlwind! If you missed it, don’t worry – we’ve got all the juicy details right here.

From the moment the doors swung open, the place was a hive of excitement. Couples galore were strolling in, each armed with big dreams and even bigger wedding plans. We heard about everything from cosy barn celebrations to full-on party palaces, and honestly, it’s impossible not to get swept up in the enthusiasm. Hearing about your big ideas – and maybe tossing in a few of our own – is exactly why we love doing this.

Our booth was pretty much busy all weekend. We had a blast chatting with so many brilliant couples about how we can turn their wedding days into stories worth reliving forever. Showing off our albums is always a treat – and seeing your faces light up as you flick through our work? Priceless.

But it wasn’t all about the couples (though you’re our favourite, don’t worry). The weekend gave us a chance to catch up with some of our favourite suppliers and meet a bunch of new ones, too. The wedding industry isn’t just talented – it’s a proper family. From bakers whipping up jaw-dropping cakes to florists creating magic out of petals, everyone brought their A-game. Events like this are a reminder of how amazing the wedding industry is, and the people who work in it!

One of the standout moments of the weekend was the incredible catwalk shows. Sammie Lou Bridal, Dressini (with their stunning mother-of-the-bride outfits), and Nigel James Menswear joined forces to showcase some jaw-dropping looks for brides, grooms, and their families. With BethanyT.MUA and Faye Elizabeth Hair working their magic behind the scenes, the models were absolutely glowing. And let’s not forget Vibe Entertainment, who pulled it all together with their special effects and music. They put on four fantastic shows across the weekend, and it was a true spectacle. Let’s not forget they were all exhibiting too!

It was also such a treat to catch up with Natalie, one of the models, whose wedding we captured last year. Seeing her back in the spotlight was so special! And Chelsie, who we worked with on a styled shoot last year, was also part of the magic. It’s moments like these that remind us how much of a community the wedding industry really is.

And now, we have to talk about the crown jewel of the event: the “Win Your Wedding” prize draw. This thing is like the golden ticket for engaged couples, and it’s easy to see why. Last year’s winners, Lucas and Maria, were on hand to announce the lucky couple for 2025 – Jed and Lisa. Their excitement was contagious as they drew the winners live on stage, and although Jed and Lisa couldn’t be there in person, we gave them a ring to share the amazing news.

The prize itself? Absolutely next level. A wedding at the gorgeous Nailcote Hall Hotel & Spa, plus contributions from a dream team of suppliers. We’re talking dresses, suits, cakes, photography (yep, that’s us!), entertainment, hair, makeup – the works. And all for a tenner. Best of all, the proceeds go to Nerve Tumours UK, an incredible charity that’s close to the organisers’ hearts. They’re even running the London Marathon in 2025 to raise more funds – talk about dedication! It’s our third year being part of this prize, and we’re chuffed to bits to be involved. We can’t wait to capture Jed and Lisa’s big day.

So there you have it. The National Wedding Fayre was a brilliant mix of love, laughter, and inspiration, and we left with full hearts (and slightly sore feet). Here’s to more incredible weddings, unforgettable moments, and stories that make us all smile.

We'll definitely be back next year!!

Peace, Love and Photos.
